Step 1: Research and Define Website Sections

Goal: Understand the primary components your website will include.

Action Points:

Identify the main purpose of the website (e.g., selling products, providing customer support).
Brainstorm or research typical e-commerce website sections:
- Essential Pages: Home, About Us, Contact Us, FAQ.
- Product-Related Pages: Categories, Product Pages, Cart, Checkout.
- User Account Features: Login/Signup, Order History, Wishlist.
- Other: Blog, Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions.
Use tools like customer journey maps or competitor analysis to determine what your audience needs.

Step 2: Organize the Structure

Goal: Lay out the hierarchy of the website content.

· Action Points:

Divide the content into primary, secondary, and tertiary levels:
- Primary: Top-level sections like Home, Products, and Contact Us.
- Secondary: Subsections like product categories (e.g., Men’s Clothing, Electronics).
- Tertiary: Specific details like individual product pages.
Sketch the structure on paper or use a whiteboard to visualize relationships between pages.
Focus on logical grouping and intuitive navigation.
